The renovation of the villa is still in progress. We will post new pictures regularly and we will keep you updated about the latest developments. Our expectation is for Villa Cocheira to be finished in October 2018. ‘Cocheira’ means ‘carriage house’, which was the former function of this beautifully located beach house close to Praia Grande, the beach of Ferragudo. The carriage house used to belong to the neighboring Castle of Ferragudo. However, in last century the carriage house has been split from the castle and has gotten its own independent purpose. In 2016, the current owners started the transformation of the carriage house into a luxury villa. The result of this transformation will be a unique beach house at 2 minutes walking distance of the beach and 5 minutes to center of Ferragudo.

The villa consists of eight 2-persons bedrooms, all equipped with a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a washstand and a toilet. The spacious living room features a very comfortable lounge sofa, a small bar and a dining table for 16 persons. The living room gives a great view of the terrace and the beautiful garden. The kitchen consists of two refrigerators, a freezer, a wine fridge, a dishwasher and a large stove. The large mezzanine, which functions as a TV area, shows a great view of the kitchen and the living room. The spacious entrance of the villa provides access to the mezzanine and consists of a guest bathroom. From the living room you can access the large garden with a high diversity of fruit trees. A beautiful terrace is located on the left side of the villa. Lastly, the villa provides a parking area with four parking spaces.
